The 2010 race will take place on Sunday 17th October and we hope it will be yet another beautifully bright, dry and cool day.
We had a fantastic race in 2009, with almost 400 runners setting off. New course best-times were set for both the men and women. Eddie O'Gorman being the first man home in 35m, and Hayley Higham setting the women’s best-time of 38m 51s.
Taking into account runners’ feedback, we will be retaining popular race features this year including the blessing by the Rev John Wigram, hot bacon sandwiches from the barbecue and free down-loadable pictures of the race on our Facebook site, and will also be changing a few things, including reducing the lower age limit for runners from 18 to 16 years.
We hope to see you in October - any queries, do get in touch.
